מלאך יהוה

My brilliant bright angel, please give me your halo. I’ll polish it clean then leave it on your table so when you wake up, it’ll be fresh and waiting to hover above you as god’s way of saying that this one is different from people like me. Give me your halo; I’ll copy my key so you’ll always feel welcome and have a place to sleep – I’ve got plenty of blankets and closets for wings to be folded and stored in, ignored for a bit. All that I ask in return is a kiss where you don’t hold a thing back and fully commit to the wonderful pressure pushing on our lips. Give me your halo, as round as your hips, as open as your eyes, and as soft as the drips of rain down the window that make sleeping easy. I cede you my space, you may come and go freely just leave me a note if you leave while I’m gone so I’ll know to cook dinner or keep holding on to the idea that angels could ever love me but you look like an angel whenever you sleep.
